blue_Reload was developed by enthusiasts in ammunition reloading and shooting sports. The application is utilized for managing personalized ammunition reloading formulas. The aim of the developers was to provide an uncomplicated method for storing fundamental, custom data related to the various components of reloaded ammunition. These include Calibers, Powders, Primers, Cases, and Bullets as displayed in the "Components" section. Users can combine different entries in this section to create reload recipes accessed through the "Recipe" tab. In addition, users can create recipe "Batches" for recording specific ammunition performance details such as firearm models used, number of firings, and personal notes.
The typical workflow for a recipe entails adding at least one entry for Calibers, Powders, Primers, Cases, and Bullets. Once these are included, the user gains access to the "Recipe" section to create a new reloading formula. The user is required to name the recipe and choose from the listed Calibers, Powders, Primers, Cases, and Bullets. Optionally, additional details like minimum and maximum grains, velocity, and pressure can be provided for each recipe.
During shooting sessions, users can add recipe batches where dated information about the firearm model, number of firings, and relevant notes can be documented.
